Every year the world keeps on eating up food and technology, but just how much more do people prefer juicy red apples over a succulent iPad? Here we explore how the behemoth tech giant Apple stacks up against America’s favorite shiny fruit. In 2009 138,000 Apple iPads were created, a total worth of around $32 billion. The numbers are pretty outstanding if you compare these Apples to apples — in the same year, total production of the fruit panned out at around $30 billion.
