iPhone Customized Theme

Are you tired of looking at your iPhone’s rather dull theme and icon? There’s a great number of themes that you can download for free if you have Installer App installed, as well as Summerboard. My favorite theme that I’ve used for quite some time now is Phiberglass, this is a great looking iPhone theme with a great set of iconsets to go along with it. Well I’ve really gotten sick of it and I haven’t found any other theme that I like, so I decided to create my very own and lucky for you I’m sharing it here.
For this to work you have to have Summerboard installed.

Here is the zipped file of the images, unzip it to your desktop:
jonblaze.zip

Now you will need iBrickr so we can create a couple of folders and upload the images into the Iphone.
Download iBrickr

Start iBrickr and click on files. You will then browse into the following directory:
/private/var/root/Library/SummerBoard/Themes/

Inside the themes folder you should see the other themes that comes with Summerboard, click on the the create folder button and we will create a folder named jonblaze and browse into that folder. Click on the Upload File button and browse the folder you unzipped to your desktop, upload the 3 images: Dock, StatusBar, and Wallpaper. Once you’re done uploading the images, create a folder inside the jonblaze folder called Icons. (case sensitive) Click the File Upload button again, browse back to the unzipped folder on the desktop, browse into the Icons folder and upload all the images in here.

Now tap the Summerboard icon on your homescreen, it should be called SMBPrefs, tap Theme and select the jonblaze theme. Go back to Summerboard, scroll all the way down and click on Restart SpringBoard. The iPhone will do a soft boot, and when slide to unlock you should have the theme activated. Here’s what mine looks like:

I intend on making more of these so stay tuned, your input is greatly appreciated!

  6. LowSight,

What firmware version do you have? If you have 1.0.2 then you can adjust the brightness of the wall paper via SummerBoard.

    One question…..
    Your wallpaper is darker !
On the theme that ive’d downloaded from you, the colour is lighter, and more dificult to see the text..
    Any ideea why?
Or u should upload another wallpaper, darker, nuances…:)

    Thank you…!
