Designing a focused digital experience

The existing .NET infrastructure had accumulated years of technical debt. Deployments were slow, developer handoffs were painful, and the enrollment experience had fallen behind what customers expected. The marketing team needed a platform they could actually work in, and customers needed a checkout flow that felt modern and trustworthy.

The work balanced conversion strategy, clear information architecture, and performance optimization so the site could support business growth immediately after launch.

How the project was executed

Legacy Audit

Before writing a single line of new code, we mapped the full .NET architecture — content dependencies, enrollment logic, data structures — to make sure nothing critical was lost or disrupted during the transition.

Ground-Up Build

We built the WordPress theme from scratch, tailored to Just Energy's updated 'Sushi Green' brand identity and the performance standards a high-traffic enterprise site demands. No page builders, no compromises.

UX Optimization

The enrollment funnel was rebuilt to guide users through ZIP lookup, plan selection, and checkout in under five minutes. Every step was designed to reduce hesitation, not add to it.

CMS Engineering

We built a modular content architecture where the marketing team could create and update regional landing pages, swap rate promotions, and manage plan details without needing to open a code editor.
