Case Study Energy / Sustainability / Subscription Rewards Platform / 2024

GoodBundle

GoodBundle is a sustainability rewards platform that makes being eco-conscious tangible and affordable. Members choose a monthly plan and get a mix of carbon offset credits, home water filtration discounts, and Texas energy savings — all in one subscription. We built the platform to be bilingual, playful, and completely transparent about what each tier actually delivers.

We launched a four-tier membership experience ($9.99–$29.99/mo) with naming that stuck (Good, Gooder, Goodest, Goodest+), clear benefit differentiation at each level, and bilingual accessibility throughout. The platform made sustainability feel actionable rather than overwhelming.

Project Overview

Designing a focused digital experience

Bundling carbon offsets, water filtration, and energy savings under one subscription sounds great in theory — but on-screen it risked looking cluttered and confusing. GoodBundle needed users to quickly grasp the value of each membership tier without reading a manual. Bilingual support and a casual, genuine brand voice made the challenge more interesting.

The work balanced conversion strategy, clear information architecture, and performance optimization so the site could support business growth immediately after launch.

Approach

How the project was executed

Strategy

We defined the tier structure to give users an obvious progression — more you pay, more you get, with benefits that feel genuinely earned. The naming was intentional: 'Goodest+' had to feel like a personality choice, not just an upsell.

Experience Design

The comparison layout used a checkbox-style benefit grid so users could scan what's included at each tier in seconds. The bilingual toggle was prominently placed, and CTAs were written to match the brand's tone — confident, a little cheeky, and honest.

Content & Messaging

The brand voice walked a careful line: playful headlines ('D@MN THAT'S A GOOD BUNDLE!') paired with clear, factual benefit descriptions. The goal was to make sustainability feel like a good deal — because it genuinely was.

Integration

We connected Texas-based energy partners — Just Energy, Amigo Energy, and Tara Energy — with the carbon offset credit system and coordinated the physical product fulfillment process for the premium tier subscribers.
